Moe's Mix Organic Compost is Safe for the Evironment

What began as a company cost saving project has turned into “Moe’s Mix”, an organic compost material now being utilized in most All Things Green, Inc. projects. Following fundamental EPA standards and applying specialized methods, we collect, recycle, and compost the green waste from each job, creating an environmentally conscious product for use in each of our successive ventures.

Composting is the biological process of converting organic waste under controlled conditions into a product that provides organic matter and nutrients to the soil. Compost improves soil texture, promotes new plant growth, can suppress some plant diseases, and prevent soil erosion when used as cover for seeded grasses.

The pH content of Moe’s Mix is analyzed on a regular basis to ensure that the soil is suitable for plant material being placed on the job. Composting offers the obvious benefits of resource efficiency and creates a useful product from organic waste that would have ended up in a landfill.
